Eastern shore (East of the Bay Bridge) offers a number of top-notch golf courses that are easily walkable.  Most of the courses on the eastern shore are on the flatter scale which does make them easy to walk provided they keep the distances from green to tee at a minimum.

Queenstown (Lake and River) courses – Both courses are walkable, but they are long due to lots of water and  distances between several of the tees. However, both courses are excellent and very fun to play.

Hog Neck Golf Course –  They have two courses,  an executive and a championship.   You’ll always see walkers on this course. The setup is perfect for walkers as the distances between greens to tees is rarely over 50 yards.   No elevation to speak of so it is an easy walk. (but the course can be tough, especially the front if the wind is blowing.)

We’ll add to list over time as we play them or receive recommendations.   Let us know others that should be added.

Thanks,

The Walker
